Therapy for Individuals

Aiden was at a cross-road.

Aiden is 24, smart, high-achieving, with a great job. When his girlfriend told him she was pregnant, he was thrown into crisis. He felt pressured to marry her. But was it for the right reasons?

His friends and family all had opinions and advice.

It was scary making such a big life decision.

Talking it out helped sort it out.

By embracing the courage to explore his feelings and values, Aiden was able to see his options clearly and understand the source of his worries.

He could move through his fears with peace of mind knowing he was making the best decision.

Can you relate to the fear of making a major life decision?

Jenny’s past was a problem.

When Jenny married, she found herself wanting to avoid sex. It wasn’t fair to her husband, and he had no clue. She figured the reason had to do with her past.

It was the first time Jenny felt safe enough to open up and share with her husband that her uncle molested her when she was a child. Her mother turned against her when she finally confided in her. When word got out, family members took sides and criticized Jenny for making trouble.

Her husband suggested therapy.

Over time, and with a lot of hard work, Jenny overcame her intense feelings of self-blame and feeling like she was damaged goods.

She felt freed from the emotional grip of her past and could finally move forward building the marriage and life she wanted.

Does your past have a grip on you?

You’re a Whole Person

It’s unfortunate that so many of us work hard at achieving and maintaining optimal physical health, but tend to neglect our mental and emotional health… until we are in crisis.

A healthy body, mind, and spirit are important to enable us to live our lives to the fullest.

Who Needs Therapy?

You might be very intelligent, well-educated, high-achieving, admired, and respected. Still, behind closed doors, no one knows how much you struggle emotionally.

All of us struggle with life circumstances from time to time. Even adapting to positive life changes is stressful. It can be overwhelming.

When it comes to yourself, inner thoughts and beliefs can get in your way. They can seriously limit you and sabotage your efforts in every aspect of your life.

No matter what you may be struggling with, you can develop effective ways of achieving a solution that is based on your own values.

Will Therapy Work For You?

Like many things, the more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it.

Therapy takes courage.

You’ll need to risk speaking your truth. I will listen without judging you.

Chances are you have more inner resources than you’re aware of.

A Different Perspective

It’s very helpful to have someone outside of your inner circle of family and friends to provide a different perspective.

Someone who may be able to help you discover a new point of view. Someone to help you see options you didn’t realize you have. Someone to support you, teach you practical tools, and skillfully guide you on your way.

That’s where I can help.
